Living with chronic pain is often accompanied by isolation and loneliness. Join us for this supportive and insightful Zoom session, where we'll discuss social isolation and loneliness in the context of chronic pain. We will explore strategies to navigate these challenges by discussing ways to grow our social network, engage in activities that make sense, are adaptive and doable for you.
Sara Rahmani-Azad has been a registered social worker in Ontario for over 15 years. She holds an Adjunct Lecturer appointment with the University of Toronto Factor Inwentash School of Social Work. She has had the privilege of working with patients and families across the life spectrum in a range of hospital and community settings throughout the province. Sara has been working in chronic pain management for the past 4 years and was recently appointed to the position of Adult Co-Chair of the Clinical Care Committee with the Ontario Chronic Pain Network (OCPN).
