This 60 minute session will help inform you about sleep, provide tools and tips for getting a better nights sleep as well as provide useful information on stress reduction.
We will be featuring a sleep expert who will also be available to answer any questions you may have!
Vela Tadic MSW RSW, is a clinical social worker and clinical educator at the Bruyère Academic Family Health Team for past ten years, and she has twenty years of work in social service sector. She has provided evidence based
Cognitive Behavioural Therapy for insomnia (CBT-i) to patients, as well as delivered CBT-i education sessions to health care and mental health care providers and learners.
Her areas of expertise include CBT, CBT-i, EMDR, motivational interviewing, mindfulness, solution focused, strengths based and brief intervention. She is Adjunct Professor with the University of Ottawa, Department of Family Medicine, and sits on the executive of the Health Professional Educators Network for the College of Family Physicians, Society of Teachers
