New Help With Your Health Workshops!

Help with your Health is a series of workshop to help you better manage your daily life and your health.

Looking after our health is important, but sometimes it can seem very complicated. These sessions will give you the skills to:

Session 1: Understanding Stress and Sleep
Tuesday, February 16th, 2016. 2:00pm to 3:30pm
We all get stressed sometimes; learn more about what happens in our bodies when we are stressed, get some tips for managing stress and getting a good night's sleep.


Session 2: Prepare for your medical appointment 
Tuesday, March 15th, 2016. 
2:00pm to 3:30pm
Appointment times are precious and sometimes when you have multiple health concerns, it can be difficult to get all the answers you need in a single appointment. Learn how to use your appointment time wisely and efficiently.


Session 3: Plan for your health
Tuesday, April 19th, 2016. 
2:00pm to 3:30pm
Work with facilitators to identify your greatest health challenges and develop a personal plan to achieve your health goals.


Session 4: Understanding Medication 
Tuesday, May 17th, 2016. 2:00pm to 3:30pm
Do you occasionally forget to take your medication? Do you understand the precautions and side effects? Managing your medication correctly can be overwhelming and time consuming. Learn how to better manage and make the most of the medication you are taking.

NOTE: Participants are encouraged to bring their medication to the workshop



All the sessions are hands-on and presented by trained facilitators in partnership by the Ontario Ministry of Health and Living Healthy Champlain.
